CARRIAGE
Carriage is free to UK mainland England and Wales, and a line up to Glasgow and Edinburgh for all orders of a total order value of £250.00 nett. A carriage surcharge of £25.00 plus VAT will be made for made for orders under this value.
DELIVERIES
All deliveries are made to tail-gate of transport unless prior arrangements have been made. Deliveries are usually made Monday-Friday 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Orders will be delivered during this time, without prior notification by us. However, if the delivery point is unmanned, it is customer’s responsibility to inform us of contact details to enable us to gain access. Carriage surcharges may be made by us, if the latter arrangements are not adhered to.
Delivery dates are given by us in good faith but are not binding. We cannot accept responsibility for loss of trade or any other subsequent costs incurred by our customers as a result of non-arrival of goods.
Responsibility for shortages or damages can only be accepted if made to us in writing within 3 workings days of dispatch.
Delivery notes signed “unchecked” will not be accepted by us should goods be faulty/damaged.
RETURNS
Due to the nature of our business, the majority of products are manufactured to order with special colour requirements and for this reason are, therefore, non-refundable.
However, it is possible that under certain circumstances goods may be returned only at the prior, written discretion of Topline Contract Furniture Ltd, providing they are in their unused and original state.
Should we accept that the goods can be returned, we will raise a credit/refund for the cost of cancelled product within 1 month of the goods being received at our factory, less a 30 percent charge of the total value of the order to cover the costs of re-stocking.
Delivery notes signed ´unchecked´ will not be accepted should goods be faulty/damaged. Notification of damages/returns should be made with 3 working days of receipt of your order. Failure to comply with this will result in Topline Contract Furniture Ltd taking no action or responsibility and replacement/rectification will be charged to the customer.
If it is agreed in writing that you may return the goods ordered from us, as the customer, you may be responsible for the cost of returning the goods and if this should be the case, those goods should be returned by an insured courier. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage during transit of the goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
